💼 What You’ll Be Responsible For:

✔️ Calculate and submit weekly/monthly betting taxes.
✔️ Ensure accurate payments and documentation for Gambling Board submissions.
✔️ Conduct reconciliations of betting tax control accounts in Pastel.
✔️ Investigate and report BTC (Betting Tax Calculation) variances.
✔️ Test and review reports for new bet types, branches, and tax rate changes.
✔️ Identify discrepancies in betting software and liaise with Project Accountant for corrections.
✔️ Maintain and organise records of all tax calculations and submissions.
✔️ Support audits and assist with data for budgeting and strategic projects.

🎓 Minimum Requirements:

✅ Matric (Grade 12)
✅ Currently studying towards a relevant finance/accounting degree or diploma
✅ Pastel proficiency is a plus
✅ High attention to detail and strong numeric skills
✅ Excellent communication and time management abilities
