Key Responsibilities:
As a Key Account Manager, your core mission will be to expand Thermo Fisher’s footprint across the African region by driving sales, building client partnerships, and delivering value-added solutions.

Manage and grow a strategic portfolio of key accounts within Africa

Develop and execute account strategies aligned with business objectives

Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and support teams to ensure client success

Identify new opportunities and generate leads to meet sales targets

Deliver presentations, demos, and commercial proposals at executive level

Support clients with product integration, implementation, and post-sale engagement

Monitor competitor trends and market dynamics to stay ahead in a competitive landscape
What You Need to Succeed:
Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (postgrad advantageous)

Minimum 5 years in account management, sales, or business development in the scientific or technical industries

Proven success in managing large accounts and closing high-value deals

Experience working within a global or multinational environment preferred
Skills:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build long-term relationships with C-suite stakeholders
