📚 Your Impact:

As a Lead Instructor: Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for creating an engaging, supportive virtual classroom experience for diverse learners. This includes preparing for and delivering dynamic lessons on topics like computer hardware, software basics, operating systems, and cybersecurity. You will lead large-scale live lectures and collaborate with fellow educators and program managers to ensure seamless, effective learning.

🎓 Key Responsibilities:

• Virtual Classroom Leadership:

  • Lead and manage live virtual classroom sessions, ranging from 200 to 8,000+ Fellows.
  • Deliver instruction on key topics, including computer hardware and software, network security, cloud computing, and more.
  • Manage real-time class dynamics, overseeing Q&A sessions, chat flow, and learner engagement.

• Collaboration & Flexibility:

  • Work closely with operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and effective scheduling.
  • Be adaptable and contribute to weekday and weekend sessions based on program needs.
  • Assist in the design, development, and improvement of lesson plans and course materials.

• Engagement & Support:

  • Maintain a dynamic online presence, adjusting the pace and delivery of lessons to ensure engagement and understanding.
  • Offer empathetic and responsive support to Fellows during lectures, addressing questions and concerns in real time.
  • Foster a positive learning environment and encourage Fellows throughout their learning journey.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Provide constructive feedback to the Correlation One team for course content improvement.
  • Stay up to date with the latest in IT trends, cybersecurity, and cloud computing to ensure relevance in teaching materials.

💼 Your Expertise:

• Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar technical role, with post-graduate or research work considered a strong plus.
  • A passion for teaching, educating, and guiding others to succeed.

• Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking (VPN, security, remote access), and cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and the future of IT.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems and their functionalities.
