We are looking for an experienced Lead Virtualization Engineer to spearhead the virtualization strategy for our growing IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- ✔ Virtualization Strategy & Design:
- Architect and deploy robust virtualization solutions.
- Optimize performance and scalability across virtual environments.
- ✔ Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Mentor and guide a team of virtualization engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate virtualization into broader IT projects.
- ✔ System Management:
- Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot virtual infrastructures.
- Ensure high availability, security, and disaster recovery protocols are in place.
- ✔ Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Research and evaluate emerging virtualization technologies.
- Propose improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
- ✔ Documentation & Reporting:
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ⏳ Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong focus on virtualization.
- 🏆 Certifications:
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) are an advantage.
- 💡 Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Strong background in networking, storage, and data center operations.
- 🔧 Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
