Are you a student or graduate in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management, seeking practical experience to complete your studies or to register with professional bodies such as ECSA, SACPCMP, SACQSP, or SAGC?

The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL), in collaboration with Base Major Construction (CSCEC JV), is proud to offer an exciting range of 2025 Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and Graduate Training Opportunities to support young professionals and students across various disciplines in the built environment.

🏗️ Available Work-Integrated Learning & Training Opportunities:

1. Graduate Training – University Graduates

  • Field: Civil Engineering (Degree)

  • Experience Level: 0–3 years post-university

  • Purpose: To gain experience for professional registration with ECSA or SACPCMP

Required Documents:

  • Cover letter

  • Detailed CV

  • Certified copies of Degree Certificate, Academic Transcript, and ID

2. Graduate Training – Universities of Technology (UoT)

  • Fields: Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management

  • Experience Level: 0–3 years post-UoT

  • Purpose: To gain experience for registration with ECSA, SACPCMP, SACQSP, or SAGC

Required Documents:

  • Cover letter

  • CV

  • Certified copies of Diploma, Academic Transcript, and ID

3. P1 & P2 In-Service Training (WIL) – Universities of Technology

  • Fields: Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management

  • Purpose: 12-month in-service training to fulfill qualification requirements

Required Documents:

  • Cover letter

  • CV

  • Confirmation letter from your UoT

  • Certified copies of Academic Transcript and ID

4. TVET College – NATED Programme

  • Field: Civil Engineering

  • Purpose: 18–24 months of in-service (WIL) training for diploma completion

Required Documents:

  • Cover letter

  • CV

  • Confirmation letter from your TVET College

  • Certified copies of Academic Transcript and ID

5. TVET College – NCV Programme

  • Fields: Building, Bricklaying, Pipe Laying, and related technical trades

  • Purpose: 6–12 months of practical workplace training

Required Documents:

  • Cover letter

  • CV

  • Confirmation letter from your TVET College

  • Certified copies of Academic Transcript and ID
