Job Overview

The 2026/2027 Unemployed Learnership offers young unemployed individuals an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised occupational qualification while acquiring practical workplace experience. Over a 12-month period, learners will be trained and exposed to real operational environments within the logistics and supply chain sector, enhancing their employability and career readiness.

Responsibilities

Attend structured classroom-based theoretical and practical training sessions.
Participate in daily logistics and supply chain operational activities.
Apply learned concepts in a real workplace environment.
Complete all required assessments and learning tasks.
Prepare for and write the EISA examination at the end of the programme.
Maintain professional conduct and comply with company policies and procedures.
Work Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00, with overtime as operationally required.

Qualifications

Education

Matric Certificate with a minimum 50% pass rate.

Experience

No prior work experience required.
Applicants must be unemployed at the time of application and appointment.

Skills

Basic literacy and numeracy competence.
Willingness to learn and grow within a structured programme.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sense of responsibility and time management.
Interest in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.

Learnership Structure

Classroom training conducted one week per month.
