About the Role:

As a Learning Partner at Capitec Bank, you will be a crucial player in shaping our people strategy by working closely with business units and senior management to deliver learning solutions that align with our business goals. You will consult on learning and development initiatives, ensuring they are implemented effectively to enhance skills, performance, and team collaboration.

Your expertise will drive the learning culture and contribute to developing high-performance teams. You will also play an instrumental role in aligning our learning initiatives with the strategic objectives set by the Head of Strategic People Partnering.


Key Responsibilities

βœ” Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with key business units, including Strategic People Partners and L&D teams, to understand learning needs and align initiatives with the company’s goals.
βœ” Design & Delivery: Lead the design, development, and delivery of learning programs that enhance employee skills and meet business requirements.
βœ” Strategic Alignment: Work with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives align with Capitec’s strategic objectives.
βœ” Performance Analysis: Use data analytics to identify skill gaps and propose solutions that will close these gaps through tailored learning programs.
βœ” Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Learning Delivery, to ensure smooth execution of learning programs.
βœ” Program Evaluation: Measure the effectiveness of learning solutions, continuously improving the programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
βœ” Innovative Practices: Act as a thought leader in the field of learning and development, introducing new practices that enhance employee growth and business results.


What You Will Bring

βœ… Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Education.
βœ… Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development, with proven expertise in the skills development landscape.
βœ… Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships, especially at senior management and executive levels.
βœ… Consulting Skills: Ability to provide consultancy and guidance on Learning and Development strategies and practices.
βœ… Team Development: Demonstrated experience in building and developing high-performing teams.
βœ… Knowledge of L&D Tools & Practices: Strong understanding of learning systems, methods, and development tools.
βœ… Project Management Skills: Knowledge of project management methodology, change management, and team health principles.
βœ… Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite and general business acumen.
