๐Ÿ“Œ Purpose of the Position

The Lecturer will contribute to teaching, scholarship, and research within the Faculty. Key roles include conducting tutorials, lectures, supervision of honours and postgraduate students, course material development, and engaging in research activities that enhance academic excellence.


๐Ÿ“ Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching & Learning: Tutorials, practicals, workshops, field excursions, and seminars.

  • Development & Supervision: Preparing and delivering lectures; supervising honours and postgraduate research projects.

  • Research & Innovation: Conducting research and professional activities in the field.

  • Course Material Development: Creating course content and assessing student work.


๐ŸŽฏ Minimum Requirements

  • Master of Commerce (NQF Level 9) in Business Management, Marketing Management, Safety Business Management, or related field with an average of 70% or above (proof required).

  • Academic excellence and evidence of research involvement; PhD application or registration is advantageous.

  • Minimum 2 years undergraduate teaching or tutoring experience.

  • South African citizen, aged 40 years or younger.

  • Proficient in MS Office, email, and internet use.
