📝 Your Role as Legal Advisor

As our Legal Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping the legal framework that supports our continued innovation and growth. You’ll provide practical, business-focused legal advice across various areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and interpret a wide range of commercial contracts (local and international).

• Identify legal risks and propose risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

• Draft legal correspondence and general policy documentation.

• Advise the business on new and existing laws, compliance, and regulatory updates.

• Collaborate with other business units and external stakeholders on legal matters.

• Draft legal opinions and assist with contract negotiations.

• Provide support across the group with general and ad hoc legal matters.

• Work closely with external legal counsel when necessary.

• Contribute to the improvement and streamlining of the company’s legal processes.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• LLB Degree from a recognised institution.

• Admitted Attorney/Legal Practitioner in South Africa.

• 1–3 years post-admission legal advisory experience.

• Solid experience drafting and reviewing contracts.

• Exposure to Fintech, Financial Services, or Telecoms is a bonus.

• Proficient in MS Office and legal research tools.
