💼 Role Overview

We are seeking a Legal Advisor to strengthen our corporate legal capabilities. This role involves managing legal risks, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring compliance across Momentum Insure’s operations.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and manage current and potential legal risks within Momentum Insure.

• Keep up-to-date with legislative and regulatory changes and provide relevant legal opinions in the financial services sector.

• Draft, negotiate, review, and advise on a variety of contracts, including SLAs, MOUs, NDAs, outsourcing agreements, and binder agreements.

• Oversee the contract management process and ensure compliance with internal policies.

• Provide strategic legal guidance to departments, committees, and forums across the business.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders by delivering specialist legal advice.

• Support the implementation of the Legal Risk Management Framework across the organisation.

• Track and monitor key legal risk indicators, controls, and action plans.

• Prepare legal reports and handle general legal queries.

• Deliver legal training and insights to business units on relevant policies and legal matters.

📋 Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree.

• 1–2 years’ experience in the financial services industry.

• Admission as an attorney (advantageous).
