🧾 Job Overview

Life Healthcare is offering internship opportunities to unemployed graduates within the Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance disciplines. This 12-month internship programme is designed to provide practical workplace exposure while equipping interns with essential business, governance, and compliance competencies.

Interns will be based at Life Healthcare’s Head Office in Dunkeld, Johannesburg, and will work closely with the Group Risk Manager, Group Compliance Lead, Senior Enterprise Risk Managers, and the Privacy Officer. The programme focuses on embedding sound risk management practices and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including privacy legislation.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Assist with updating and maintaining elements of the Group Risk Management Framework

• Support the implementation of the Group Compliance and Privacy Frameworks across the organisation

• Assist Risk and Compliance teams with embedding effective governance practices

• Provide administrative support to the Group Risk Manager and Group Compliance Lead

• Support compliance monitoring and reporting activities

• Assist with documentation, record-keeping, and framework updates

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to promote a culture of ethical behaviour and regulatory compliance

🎓 Requirements

Education

• Completed Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in one of the following fields:

  • Risk Management

  • Compliance Management

  • Financial Management

  • Business Management

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be unemployed at the time of application

• Must be a South African citizen

• Must be under the age of 35

• Qualification must be fully completed (no outstanding modules)
