Job Overview

Optix Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly organized Logistics Coordinator (English & French) to support the full after-sales lifecycle of Optix hardware. Based in Benoni, Gauteng, this role ensures seamless coordination of installations, repairs, returns, and replacements while maintaining exceptional communication with clients.

You will act as a key link between customers, technicians, and internal teams—overseeing scheduling, troubleshooting, reporting, and service execution. The role requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple time-sensitive tasks at once.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new installations, ad-hoc requests, de/re-installations, and hardware repairs.

  • Conduct initial troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve hardware issues before escalation.

  • Ensure all service requests and logistics tasks meet internal SLAs and quality standards.

  • Communicate with engineering teams, field technicians, and clients to plan and execute on-site work.

  • Log and manage service requests, hardware returns, shipments, and warranty cases with accurate documentation.

  • Book faulty devices with Engineering and monitor repair progress to ensure timely return.

  • Manage replacement stock, including issuing devices, tracking returns, and maintaining inventory levels.

  • Provide clients with consistent updates, timelines, and feedback throughout the service process.

  • Handle sensitive or escalated client inquiries with professionalism and customer focus.

  • Identify process improvements and assist the Customer Success Lead in optimizing the after-sales workflow.

  • Support Logistics and Client Success teams with general administrative tasks.


🧠 Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French (mandatory).

  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Office and ticketing/CRM systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving and issue escalation judgement.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to meeting client expectations.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

🎓 Minimum Education & Experience

  • Grade 12 / N4 (Matric) or equivalent.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, service coordination, or operations support.

  • Background in after-sales service or technical support logistics (advantageous).

  • Fluent in English and French — non-negotiable.
