🚛 Position Overview:

Restonic is offering an exciting internship opportunity for an enthusiastic Logistics Intern to join our dynamic Supply Chain and Operations team at our Ormonde facility. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real-world logistics operations, offering an excellent learning opportunity for individuals passionate about supply chain coordination, warehouse management, and process improvement.

This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to apply their theoretical knowledge, learn from experienced logistics professionals, and gain practical experience in a fast-paced environment.

🎓 Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

• Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations

• Familiarity with administrative procedures and relevant legislation (OHS, Road Traffic)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Good communication and time management skills

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own transport

• A proactive team player with a willingness to learn and take initiative

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with inbound and outbound logistics coordination

• Perform inventory tracking and reconciliation tasks

• Support the de-briefing of trips using the Vantage system

• Clear Optic videos for minor transport events

• Pull speeding reports, under rest reports, and km readings

• Follow up with Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs)

• Manage logistics documentation and maintain records accurately

• Participate in process improvement initiatives and assist with data analysis of KPIs

• Handle general administrative duties

• Perform stock check-ins for returned goods and report discrepancies to supervisors
