Are you passionate about helping individuals in crisis and making a real difference in their recovery journey? As a Maatschappelijk Werker at GGz Centraal, you will work with patients experiencing severe psychiatric conditions, supporting them during their stay in our High & Intensive Care (HIC) unit. This position requires you to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a comprehensive social and emotional assessment of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct psychosocial assessments with patients and their families to understand their emotional, social, and material needs.
✔ Create a care plan with patients and their families, assisting them in setting practical goals.
✔ Provide psycho-education to patients, families, and involved parties.
✔ Work collaboratively with external agencies to ensure quality patient care and support.
✔ Engage in social-legal procedures when necessary, to ensure patients receive appropriate services.
✔ Facilitate conflict resolution between patients and their families when needed, promoting reconciliation and healing.
About the Team:
Our team at the Johannesbos HIC in Veldwijk, Ermelo, is welcoming, driven, and collaborative. We offer a dynamic environment where feedback is encouraged, and teamwork is essential in delivering top-tier care to patients experiencing psychiatric crises. The department is easily accessible via the A28 and the Ermelo train station.
Work Environment:
Our Johannesbos HIC department provides short-term psychiatric treatment to patients aged 18-65 years who require urgent care in a secure environment. We focus on stabilizing patients and empowering them with the skills they need to regain control over their lives.
Benefits:
✔ Salary: Between €3,199 and €4,977 per month, depending on experience.
✔ Annual leave: 166 hours + 35 life-phase hours (based on 36 hours/week).
✔ Holiday pay: 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%.

What We Are Looking For:
✅ A HBO-qualified social worker, such as MWD or Social Work, with additional training as a GGZ-agoog.
✅ Experience in psychiatric care or a related field.
✅ A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
✅ A strong affinity for Intensive Home Treatment (IHT) and HIC environments.
