🏭 About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated X3 Machine Operator to join our dynamic operations team in Boksburg East. This role is crucial in ensuring that all machinery operates safely, efficiently, and produces premium products with minimal waste.

As an integral part of our production process, you will work closely with supervisors, quality controllers, and fellow operators to maintain smooth machine operation and contribute to continuous process improvements.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Efficient Machine Operation: Operate X3 machinery following precise instructions, training guidelines, and equipment manuals to maximize output.

• Process Control & Monitoring: Ensure all machines run within specified parameters, minimizing downtime and waste.

• Shift Handover Management: Communicate machine status, breakdowns, and production details during shift changes to maintain workflow continuity.

• Quality Assurance Collaboration: Partner with Quality Controllers to inspect raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with company standards.

• Machine Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine TPM cleaning and maintenance schedules to keep equipment in optimal condition and extend machine life.

• Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing mechanical faults and relay accurate information to maintenance teams for prompt repairs.

• Safety & Compliance: Rigorously follow all food safety, health, environmental, and safety regulations to guarantee a secure and hygienic work environment.

• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to company housekeeping policies that enhance operational safety and efficiency.

• Training Participation: Engage actively in training sessions related to quality, food safety, and health & safety standards to continuously improve personal and team performance.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Education: Grade 12 (Matric) required.

• Preferred: N4 Engineering Studies or relevant technical qualification.

• Experience: 1-2 years in FMCG or production line environments, demonstrating familiarity with machine operation.

• Desirable: Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
