CBH Africa’s Supreme Processing division is seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator (Preparation) to join the FP2 Processing Plant team in Germiston. This is a permanent opportunity designed for individuals with experience in operating machinery within a high-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, your core duties will include:

• Operating mixers, grinders, tumblers, and injectors in the processing plant.

• Ensuring accurate record-keeping of ingredients and correct weighing procedures as per company standards.

• Following specified recipes and work instructions for product consistency.

• Monitoring machine efficiency and conducting basic troubleshooting or repairs during shifts.

• Performing rigorous equipment checks to maintain optimal machine safety and hygiene.

• Ensuring all products are labeled correctly with appropriate dates and weights.

• Practicing FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology and proper storage of ingredients.

• Cleaning, assembling, and disassembling machines in compliance with hygiene protocols.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and ensuring safe storage of machine components.

• Communicating effectively with Shift Managers and Heads of Department to align production goals and maintain consistent line speed.

Minimum Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Matric / Grade 12 or National Certificate.

• Certified Machine Operator (preferably in the food manufacturing sector).

• Proven work experience operating manufacturing machinery.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong customer service focus and ability to work independently.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and safety.

• Willingness to work overtime as required.
