Job Overview
The Intern β Shipping role is a 12-month intensive internship designed to provide practical exposure to shipping, imports, exports, and logistics operations. The successful candidate will support the Shipping Department with administrative and operational tasks while gaining hands-on experience in documentation, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination.
Responsibilities

Perform general administrative duties within the Shipping Department

Assist with receiving and reviewing sales orders

Prepare and process customer shipping documentation
-
Ensure delivery notes align with export documentation
-
Update and maintain transport rate registers
-
Assist with shipment tracking and status updates
-
Review sales orders against delivery notes
-
Assist with issuing credit notes where required
Qualifications
Education
-
National Diploma or Degree in:
-
Logistics
-
Supply Chain Management
-
Shipping
-
International Trade or a related field
-
Experience
-
No prior work experience required
-
Must be available to commit to 12 months of practical training
Skills

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak)

Basic understanding of logistics and shipping processes
