As part of the Snackworks division, AVI is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join the Rosslyn factory. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant by effectively planning and managing maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Maintenance Planning: Oversee the planning of preventative and shutdown maintenance, coordinating daily ad-hoc work and annual shutdowns.
✔️ Data Analysis: Analyse machinery and component life cycles to identify failure trends and ensure the integrity of daily data captured by artisans.
✔️ Job Card Management: Maintain accurate job cards and schedules in accordance with OEM manuals and historical performance data.
✔️ Cost & Time Estimates: Develop cost and time estimates for planned maintenance activities, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
✔️ Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: Manage and optimise preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, including condition monitoring.
✔️ CMMS Management: Implement, optimise, and manage the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – Shopware Asset Care system.
✔️ Project Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering project team to ensure the efficient delivery of tasks that involve engineering input.
✔️ Maintenance Trends & Reporting: Monitor job completion rates and identify trends to report to the Engineering management team.
✔️ Inventory Control: Collaborate with engineering stores to ensure proper control of spares and stock levels.

Requirements

Experience:
✔️ At least 8 years of experience in maintenance planning within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
✔️ Experience in a high-speed packaging environment is highly advantageous.

Qualifications:
✔️ Completed a trade test as a Fitter, Millwright, or Electrical Technician (from a recognized institution).
✔️ A National Diploma/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (N6/T3/S4).

Additional Skills & Knowledge:
✔️ Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP, Shopware, and Pragma (experience with Pragma ‘On Key’ is a distinct advantage).
✔️ Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts and principles.
✔️ Proficiency in MS Projects and MS Excel for reporting and planning.
