📌 About the Role

RCL Foods is seeking a Maintenance Storeman to join our Engineering Team at our Rustenburg site. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on FMCG experience and a passion for stock control, procurement coordination, and maintenance administration. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the maintenance department operates efficiently with all the necessary tools, parts, and consumables available.

🧰 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily and monthly stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.

• Receive and issue spare parts, consumables, and tools promptly and correctly.

• Open and manage job cards for ongoing and upcoming maintenance tasks.

• Assist the buyer with quote requests and procurement of parts.

• Ensure efficient stock level management and reorder supplies as needed.

• Reconcile daily invoices and perform regular filing for audits and compliance.

• Perform tool control, issuing special tools and recording their use daily.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts store through daily housekeeping.

• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

• Identify and resolve inventory and procurement issues proactively.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate

• A formal technical or supply chain qualification is advantageous

• Valid Driver’s License (PDP beneficial)

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar FMCG environment

• Strong organizational and stock control skills

• Ability to work under pressure and multitask

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities

• Familiar with inventory management and procurement systems
