📋 Job Overview

The Management Science Graduate (OPS) role is designed to develop future leaders in operations, supply chain, and analytics within the Takealot Group. The Graduate Programme provides exposure across multiple business units, equipping graduates with both technical and soft skills required to succeed in a large-scale, data-driven ecommerce environment.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Support inventory management and operational analytics initiatives

• Perform demand forecasting using historical data and market trends

• Monitor real-time inventory levels and key performance indicators

• Assist with inventory optimisation and stock turnover analysis

• Conduct basic data analysis and reporting using Excel and related tools

• Gain exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms

• Support process improvement and root cause analysis initiatives

• Identify operational trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across supply chain and operations

🎓 Qualifications

Education

• Degree or BCom in Supply Chain, Management Science, or related field

Experience

• Graduate-level role; prior internships or exposure to data analysis or operations is advantageous

Skills

• Strong computer literacy

• Proficiency in Excel and basic data analysis tools

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
