๐ŸŒŸ Role Overview

The Management Support Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, sales, and operational support to the Business Manager. The role is critical in ensuring that advisers are effectively supported, management processes are executed efficiently, and sales strategies are implemented with accuracy and compliance.

This position requires strong coordination skills, financial services knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.


๐ŸŽฏ Key Responsibilities

Management & Administrative Support

  • Provide end-to-end administrative support to the Business Manager

  • Assist with commission statement queries, permits, and adviser enquiries

  • Support recruitment, registration, contracting, transfers, and terminations of advisers

  • Schedule and coordinate management meetings, unit meetings, and internal engagements

  • Manage brand control, recognition communications, and awards announcements

  • Coordinate office infrastructure including offices, networks, telephones, and accounts

Financial, Risk & Compliance Support

  • Provide financial management support including budgeting, ad-hoc financing, and debt management

  • Assist with debit order RD processing and premium warning processes

  • Coordinate risk management activities including odds trend management and tax practitioner lists

  • Support legislative processes such as FAIS non-approvals and Rule 19 replacements

  • Maintain unit replacement statistics and monitor adviser performance

Sales & Adviser Support

  • Handle escalated client queries including claims and reimbursements

  • Coordinate training interventions and maintain training matrices and accreditation records

  • Manage adviser activity reporting, competitions, and sales performance tracking

  • Assist with presentation preparation and business reporting

  • Track advisers not submitting new business and support activity management

Leads, Projects & MIS

  • Distribute leads to advisers in consultation with the Business Manager

  • Track lead conversion and effectiveness in conjunction with the Sales Consultant

  • Gather feedback from advisers on lead quality and outcomes

  • Coordinate business unit projects and key account initiatives

  • Compile, draw, and manage Management Information Systems (MIS) reports

Digital Enablement

  • Promote and drive adoption of AUTO NUB and E-signing solutions

  • Support advisers with digital sales and administration tools


๐ŸŽ“ Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric or equivalent qualification (essential)

  • Previous experience in a financial distribution or sales support environment

  • Valid driverโ€™s licence and own vehicle

  • Experience as a Sales Support Assistant or Management Support Assistant within an SFA environment (advantageous)

Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of sales administration and lead management processes

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Experience with financial and adviser systems such as AUTONUB, WIRED, S.Net, Advisers Web, SanPort, SanPay, CUBUS

  • Knowledge of Content Manager, DRA systems, and Worksite Information Systems (WIS)
