Role Overview:
The Marketing Insights Intern will support the Insights Lead in generating and delivering marketing insights that inform key business decisions. This role involves assisting with market research, data analysis, and preparing reports that contribute to the strategic goals of Group Brand & Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing foundation and an analytical mindset, eager to learn and help deliver the group’s marketing objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

📊 Research Support:

  • Assist in the design and execution of market research projects, including qualitative and quantitative methods such as surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
  • Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the Insights Lead in organizing and managing data for research initiatives.

📉 Data Analysis:

  • Assist in analyzing research and campaign data to identify insights, trends, and patterns.
  • Use analytical tools to interpret data and generate meaningful reports to inform business decisions.

📈 Reporting & Presentation:

  • Prepare summaries and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in creating presentations that clearly communicate insights and support strategic planning.

🤝 Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Insights Lead and other team members in Group Brand & Marketing to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including other analytics teams, to foster collaboration and share best practices.

🗂 Administrative Support:

  • Manage project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Provide administrative support for research projects, including scheduling meetings and coordinating with external vendors.
  • Assist with the internal distribution of insights and ensure that research results are shared across relevant platforms.

🔄 Client Centricity:

  • Maintain and build relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Contribute to building rewarding client relationships by providing timely and insightful recommendations.
  • Participate in efforts to improve client service and enhance the overall client experience.

Requirements:

🎓 Educational Background:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Marketing Communications, Business Management, or a related field.

🔍 Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A keen interest in insights, data analytics, and marketing strategy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • An inquisitive mindset and willingness to continuously learn and grow.

📅 Experience:

  • Familiarity with research tools and data visualization software is a plus.
  • Prior experience in marketing or research roles is advantageous but not required.
