Job Overview

The Marketplace Sales Graduate role is ideal for commercially minded graduates with a strong interest in sales, marketplace operations, and seller performance management. The role focuses on supporting marketplace sellers, improving catalogue quality, driving promotional participation, and analysing performance data to support sustainable seller growth.

Graduates will work closely with internal teams and external sellers, gaining valuable experience in account support, sales enablement, and e-commerce marketplace dynamics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support marketplace sellers with basic account management and operational queries

  • Assist sellers in understanding platform tools, processes, and best practices

  • Monitor seller performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities

  • Support improvements to product listings, catalogue quality, and stock availability

  • Assist with promotional activities, including submissions and performance tracking

  • Prepare seller performance reports, trackers, and dashboards

  • Escalate operational or technical issues to relevant internal teams

  • Participate in seller training sessions, webinars, and enablement initiatives

  • Maintain accurate records of seller interactions and actions taken


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a related field

Experience

  • Recent graduate or entry-level candidate

  • Exposure to sales, customer support, or e-commerce environments is advantageous

Skills

  • Strong understanding of business principles, sales, and marketing concepts

  • Competitor and market analysis capability

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
