Job Overview

The Mechanical Engineering Graduate: Site & Services role provides practical exposure to engineering operations within a high-volume distribution centre environment. The graduate will support site services, equipment maintenance, inventory control of spares, and operational reporting while working closely with technicians and cross-functional teams.

This role is ideal for technically inclined graduates seeking hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems within large-scale logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support technicians in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment within the distribution centre

• Assist with inventory management of engineering spares, tools, and equipment

• Monitor and report unsafe acts, safety risks, and housekeeping standards

• Support site services operations across facilities and production areas

• Assist with basic data analysis and reporting related to site performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional operational and engineering teams

• Gain exposure to supply chain, production, and distribution processes

Qualifications

Education

• N6 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• Graduate-level candidate with limited or no prior work experience

• Exposure to engineering, facilities, or technical environments is advantageous

Skills

• Strong computer literacy

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Basic data analysis skills (Excel required; Power BI or SQL advantageous)

• Understanding of supply chain, operations, and production processes

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
