🔧 Role Overview

As a Mechanical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for field engineering activities including preparation and adjustment of plans, designs, calculations, cost estimations, and bills of materials in accordance with industry codes and standards. You will perform technical surveys and inspections, prepare reports, and ensure construction work complies with design specifications.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and adjust mechanical plans, designs, and technical documentation

• Conduct routine technical surveys and inspections on-site

• Verify construction conforms to established specifications and standards

• Prepare detailed reports on inspections and project progress

• Collaborate with supervisors and project teams to meet engineering goals

• Provide technical guidance to junior staff when required

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to influence and resolve issues

• Utilize relevant engineering systems, tools, and processes to support field operations

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or relevant trade qualification with further specialized training

• Typically, 5+ years’ experience with a degree or 7+ years with trade qualifications in a similar mechanical engineering role

• Proven experience in site engineering, inspections, and technical reporting

• Strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and project specifications

• Intermediate knowledge of field systems, processes, and tools
