Job Overview
The Administrator β Medical Accounts role provides operational and administrative support within the Medical Fees team. The incumbent will manage and resolve payment-related queries end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, SLA compliance, and improved client turnaround times.
The role requires strong case management discipline, reconciliation skills, and the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, external providers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities

Process and resolve payment-related queries within SLA
-
Conduct intake, triage, investigation, reconciliation, and closure of cases
-
Clear ageing cases and maintain audit-ready documentation
-
Record accurate case notes and evidence trails
-
Engage professionally with customers, advisors, and third-party providers
-
Update and manage workflow systems (BANCS, BIZAGI, CMOS, EMS, Outlook)

Perform quality checks on own work

Support benefit follow-ups

Ensure compliance with POPIA and governance standards

Maintain disciplined task management and throughput control
Qualifications
Education
Minimum:

Matric (NQF Level 4)
Advantageous:

Post-matric qualification

1β2 yearsβ administrative experience within Old Mutual
-
Knowledge of PF, MFC, and customer product processes
Experience
-
Experience in medical accounts administration or payment processing

Working knowledge of BANCS, BIZAGI, CMOS, and Outlook

Experience in high-volume, SLA-driven environments

Exposure to reconciliation and financial case management
