Job Overview

A fast-growing European health and wellness brand is recruiting a Midweight Graphic Designer based in South Africa (remote). The company builds innovative, design-led nutrition and wellness products and is expanding rapidly across global markets.
In this role, design becomes a central strategic function, shaping how the brand communicates across packaging, campaigns, digital platforms and retail touchpoints.


Role Summary

The Midweight Graphic Designer will take ownership of brand identity evolution, packaging systems, digital content execution, and campaign design. This role requires someone who can blend strategic thinking with hands-on creative execution, ensuring every touchpoint reinforces a consistent and compelling brand experience.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across marketing, product, media, operations, and e-commerce, ensuring creative output aligns with commercial targets and customer insights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and refinement of the brand’s overall visual identity across all consumer-facing channels.

  • Conceptualise and deliver high-impact creative assets for campaigns, packaging, social media, email marketing, ads, print collateral, and digital experiences.

  • Own packaging design end-to-end: product concepts, label development, box structures, and shelf-ready visualisation.

  • Develop engaging and conversion-focused digital assets, including website banners, landing-page visuals, and marketing graphics.

  • Strengthen creative processes by promoting collaboration, constructive critique, and high-quality standards within the creative function.

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure design supports business objectives, consumer insights, and product strategies.

  • Improve brand storytelling through consistent application of typography, layout, colour systems, and design hierarchy.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in FMCG, health, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle sectors.

  • A strong, contemporary portfolio showcasing brand identity, packaging design, campaign development, and multi-channel creative execution.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

  • Motion graphics, 3D rendering, or animation experience is highly advantageous.

  • Deep understanding of brand systems, storytelling, typography, layout, and colour theory.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise deadlines, and handle a high-speed growth environment.

  • Strong collaboration skills, including feedback exchange, cross-team engagement, and creative planning.
