Job Description

JLL is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As part of our team, you will perform a variety of essential maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of service delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Predictive, Conductive, Preventive, and Corrective Maintenance: Execute maintenance tasks according to JLL and client SOPs, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

• Safety and Compliance: Manage safety access and permits to work, and oversee contractor compliance with safety standards.

• Electrical Systems: Maintain and repair electrical systems, ensuring safe and functional equipment.

• Mechanical Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on equipment and operating systems.

• Plumbing: Manage waste water systems and perform basic plumbing repairs.

• Painting and Carpentry: Handle painting and carpentry tasks to maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of the facility.

• Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency maintenance calls and ensure timely repairs.

• Facility Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the building meets safety and operational standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Facilities Coordinator to support the smooth operation of all facility services.

• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS): Complete work orders accurately and on time, maintaining proper records in CMMS.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.

• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
