Job Overview
The Nedbank Chartered Accountant (CA) Trainee Programme is a SAICA-accredited training programme designed to develop future Chartered Accountants through structured rotations across multiple business areas within the bank. Over a three-year period, trainees gain broad exposure aligned to the SAICA CA of the Future competency framework while tailoring their development journey to match individual career aspirations. Participants are encouraged to actively contribute to programme initiatives, transformation goals, and continuous improvement within Nedbank.
Key Responsibilities

Complete SAICA articles in line with prescribed training regulations

Rotate through various business divisions to gain diverse financial and strategic exposure

Deliver high-quality work within agreed turnaround times

Proactively manage personal learning and professional development

Participate in programme committees and value-adding initiatives

Contribute to transformation, culture, and collaboration across the organisation

Identify opportunities to improve business processes and systems
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
-
SAICA-accredited undergraduate qualification
Postgraduate Qualification:
-
Honours in Accounting or
-
Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (or equivalent qualifying for SAICA ITC)
Experience:

No prior work experience required

Must be eligible to enter SAICA training
