About the Role:
HuntWave Technologies is looking for a talented and experienced .Net Developer to join their innovative team in Johannesburg. As a Senior Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our advanced software solutions. Key Responsibilities:

✅ Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using C# (.NET 4.6.1) with a plan to rewrite to .Net Core.
✅ Microservices Architecture: Experience with microservice architecture, Docker containers, and orchestration.
✅ Performance and Optimization: Recommend architectural changes to improve performance and reliability.
✅ Code Reviews: Perform thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
✅ Service Development: Deliver reusable service and infrastructure templates.
✅ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
✅ API Development: Enhance the security and functionality of APIs and integrations with e-commerce platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, and Shopify.
✅ Troubleshooting: Assist with production issues related to the products your team owns.

Platform Performance and Maintenance:

🌐 Cloud Services: Ensure the performance and availability of our Azure-based cloud services.
🌐 Third-Party Services: Utilize third-party services such as Event Store, Azure SQL Database, Redis Cache, and more.
🌐 API Security: Implement strong API security practices to safeguard services.
🌐 Disaster Recovery: Develop strategies for high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and rollbacks.

Team Collaboration:

🤝 Agile Development: Familiarity with Scrum methodology and Azure DevOps for project management.
🤝 Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
🤝 Merchant Integration: Work on e-commerce platform integrations and ensure seamless data synchronization between platforms.

Qualifications:

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
💼 Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development.
💻 Skills: Proficient in C#, .Net 4.6.1, Angular 13, and Azure cloud services.
🔒 API Security: Strong understanding of API security principles and ensuring regulatory compliance.
📋 Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
🧠 Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
