What You’ll Be Doing

As a Network Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing DigiOutsource’s infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for:

Network Administration & Engineering:

  • Optimizing configuration and performance of network hardware/software.

  • Collaborating with Infrastructure, InfoSec, DevOps, and Development teams.

  • Proactively improving infrastructure for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Performing hardware maintenance and system logging for effective troubleshooting.

  • Managing secure backup of all network configurations and data.

Monitoring & Incident Management:

  • Implementing and managing advanced monitoring systems.

  • Ensuring real-time alerts and performance metrics (latency, jitter, packet loss).

  • Participating in a rotating 24/7 standby roster.

  • Maintaining PagerDuty escalation and incident response protocols.

Cloud Networking:

  • Supporting Azure and AWS environments with expert configuration and best practices.

  • Cloud resource cost optimization.

  • Terraform use and state file management.

Vendor Relations:

  • Managing and maintaining vendor and support relationships.

  • Monitoring hardware warranties and contracts.

  • Ensuring vendor accountability and resolution of issues.

Information Security & Compliance:

  • Partnering with InfoSec to uphold robust security policies.

  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and SOX standards.

  • Managing audits, risk assessments, and secure configurations.

Tech Stack Exposure (Not limited to):

  • Networking: Cisco (IOS/NX-OS), Palo Alto, A10 Networks, Extreme Networks

  • Monitoring Tools: Site24x7, Observium, Scrutinizer

  • Cloud & Load Balancing: Azure, AWS, Cloudflare

  • Protocols: VLAN, OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, NAT, MACSec, SSLVPN, HSRP, VRRP

What You Need to Succeed

Essential Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple complex projects.

  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability.

  • Relevant IT qualification.

  • CCNA or equivalent networking certification.

  • 4+ years of IT industry experience.

  • Expertise in switching, routing, firewalls, and cloud networking.

Desirable (Bonus) Skills:

  • Experience in online gaming, betting, or iGaming industries.

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in tech or gambling sectors.

  • Microsoft Certifications and scripting skills for automation.
