Key Responsibilities:
✅ Health & Safety First:

- Administer and manage a comprehensive occupational health surveillance program.
- Ensure the health and safety of employees through continuous monitoring of their physical, psychological, and social well-being.
✅ Injury & Emergency Management:
- Handle injury-on-duty cases and ensure effective emergency response and return-to-work processes.
- Coordinate wellness activities as part of the company’s Wellness Programme.
✅ Medical Surveillance & Reporting:
- Manage risk-based medicals like audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and biological monitoring.
- Compile monthly reports and maintain accurate medical records for all employees.
✅ Administration & Compliance:
- Manage primary healthcare and chronic disease management at the facility.
- Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and budgeting procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the canteen, ablutions, work environment, and first aid supplies.
✅ Employee Support & Development:
- Assess and manage disability cases.
- Assist with travel immunization and provide continuous feedback to the Health and Wellbeing Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Grade 12, Diploma in General Nursing, Occupational Health Nursing, and relevant certifications (Audiometry, Spirometry, etc.).
- Registered with: South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse and Occupational Health Nurse.
- Experience: 5 years in an Occupational Health Clinic with a strong focus on employee assistance and disability management.
