Job Opportunity: Office Admin Graduate – Bidvest Tank Terminals (Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal)

Bidvest Tank Terminals is offering an exciting graduate opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Legal & Sustainability Department as an Office Admin Graduate. Based at our Head Office in Umhlanga, this position is ideal for recent graduates looking to build a strong foundation in office administration within a professional and fast-paced environment.

About the Role
As the Office Admin Graduate, you will report to the Office Facilities Supervisor and play a key role in delivering front office and administrative support to our Head Office teams. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about organizational excellence, has a proactive mindset, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in corporate office operations.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • A relevant qualification in Office Management, Administration, or Business

  • 6 months of general administrative experience (advantageous)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency is a bonus)

  • Valid Code B driver’s license (advantageous)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally handle and direct all incoming calls and messages

  • Welcome visitors and manage the reception area

  • Generate purchase requisitions (PRs) and process receipts for Head Office expenses

  • Support internal communications such as birthday memos

  • Schedule meetings, take minutes, and distribute them promptly

  • Reconcile and manage petty cash

  • Coordinate meeting room setups and training arrangements

  • Liaise with vendors for building maintenance and service requests

  • Manage stock levels for consumables and ensure availability

  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas like meeting rooms and printing stations

  • Manage water and fridge supplies for staff use

  • Book travel and accommodation for training and business requirements
