AVBOB South Africa is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Office Administrator to manage and control the financial transactions, reporting, and operations of the Group Corporate Affairs Marketing department. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving financial controls and supporting day-to-day office functions, ensuring smooth operations within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

πŸ“Š Budgeting & Financial Control

  • Coordinate and assist with budget recommendations and project submissions.

  • Prepare and consolidate department budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Manage financial control sheets for each department function.

  • Process supplier documentation, ensuring proper onboarding and system integration.

🧾 Invoicing & Payment Management

  • Coordinate billing projections and manage accruals for late invoices.

  • Ensure accuracy in invoices and reconciliation of media accounts.

  • Process and capture invoices for payment, ensuring approval from department heads.

πŸ’Ό Supplier & Contract Management

  • Oversee the onboarding process of new suppliers.

  • Facilitate communication with suppliers to resolve outstanding payments.

  • Track and manage financial year-end processes with department heads.

  • Coordinate monthly budget reviews and internal adjustments.

  • Assist in the completion of BBBEE documentation for suppliers.

  • Perform general administrative tasks as required by the department.

Requirements:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification.

  • A tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma) is highly preferable.

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant financial experience.

  • Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with accounting terms.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in communication (written and verbal).
