Role Overview:
As the Onboarding & Training Manager – Payroll, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the onboarding and training programs for Deel’s global payroll team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the learning experience for new hires and create meaningful, scalable programs that empower our payroll teams to succeed. The role involves working collaboratively with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the payroll operations team to deliver impactful training programs.
What You’ll Do:
🔹 Onboarding and Training
- Lead the onboarding process for new hires in the global payroll team.
- Develop and implement a blended training program that combines remote content delivery with e-learning options.
- Create training courses and multimedia content tailored to the specific needs of payroll professionals.
🔹 Program Development and Delivery
- Define program milestones and KPIs to track the effectiveness and success of onboarding and training initiatives.
- Continuously improve core global payroll enablement programs to ensure they meet evolving business needs.
- Engage with audiences to adapt the training programs to their unique needs, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful.
🔹 Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to design and develop training solutions.
- Ensure that the training content is aligned with Deel’s business objectives and enhances the payroll team’s efficiency and success.
- Monitor the success of the training programs and make adjustments as needed to maximize impact.
Key Qualifications:
🔑 Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in a training, onboarding, or enablement manager role.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a payroll-focused role, giving you valuable insights into the needs and challenges of the payroll team.
🎓 Educational Background:
- A degree or training certification in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related field is highly desirable.
🌱 Skills and Abilities:
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Ability to create engaging content for both online and in-person training formats.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Results-driven with a creative problem-solving mindset.
