Role Overview:
As an Outbound Call Center Representative, you will play a vital role in our Member Engagement team, reaching out to health plan members to offer, explain, and schedule healthcare evaluations. Your work will directly contribute to improving the health outcomes of individuals and will provide them with valuable healthcare services. Key Responsibilities:
📞 Conduct Outbound Calls:
Place an average of 50 outbound calls per hour to health plan members, offering free in-home or virtual healthcare evaluations.
📝 Follow Scripts & Guidelines:
Utilize 20+ approved scripts to ensure members fully understand the evaluation process, addressing any concerns or objections with professional courtesy.
🎯 Meet Performance Goals:
Achieve daily targets such as 300-400 outbound calls and 24 appointments set per day while maintaining quality standards.
🗓️ Manage Appointments:
Schedule, adjust, reschedule, or cancel appointments as requested, ensuring smooth coordination between members and providers.
📊 Monitor Performance Metrics:
Track key performance indicators such as appointments set, calls made, and productivity through reporting systems.
⚠️ Escalate Issues:
Report member complaints and escalations to the Member Engagement Manager immediately.
🔒 Follow Privacy Guidelines:
Ensure HIPAA compliance when handling protected health information, maintaining confidentiality and security.
Required Skills & Experience:
✔️ Call Center Experience:
A minimum of 1 year in a call center environment or 2+ years of general work experience, preferably with outbound calling or high-volume, metrics-driven roles.
✔️ Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with members and colleagues effectively.
✔️ Persuasion & Problem-Solving:
Ability to handle objections and rebuttals professionally while maintaining a customer-first approach.
✔️ Tech-Savvy:
Proficient in using multiple systems simultaneously, including dialers and CRM tools.
✔️ Attention to Detail:
Ability to follow scripts accurately and maintain detailed records of interactions.
✔️ Adaptability:
Comfortable working with a set schedule, including shift flexibility within a 7 AM – 9 PM operational window.
