Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Packaging and Ingredients Storeman to join our dynamic team in Worcester. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage stock, assist customers at the issue and receiving counter, and maintain high standards of organization and safety. You will play a vital role in the smooth running of store operations, ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

2+ years of experience in a similar environment, preferably in packaging and ingredients or warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities
πΉ Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and professional service at the issue and receiving counter, helping customers with their queries and stock requirements.
πΉ Stock Management:
- Capture SSRβs (Stock Service Requests) and invoices daily.
- Assist with loading and off-loading stock and non-stock items.
- Ensure all SSRβs are checked against the Inventory Journal to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of returns and repairs, completing GRAβs (Goods Receipt Advice).
πΉ Warehouse Organization: - Ensure that all stock is binned neatly and correctly every day.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the stores area.
πΉ Compliance: - Ensure adherence to SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) procedures.
- Uphold Rainbow ethical standards and adhere to the requirements of RPM (Rainbow Packaging Management).
- Report and escalate any non-compliance issues promptly to management.
πΉ Inventory Control: - Assist with quarterly stock counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Ensure that data is captured accurately into the information system to enable reliable trend analysis and decision-making.
πΉ Team Collaboration: - Share relevant data with management teams to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Ensure that team members regularly capture data into the system for better reporting and trend analysis.
- Help ensure quality and productivity standards are consistently met across all operations.
