Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Packaging and Ingredients Storeman to join our team in Worcester. In this role, you will be responsible for managing stock, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and ensuring compliance with safety and company procedures. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience in a similar role, a Grade 12 qualification, and a strong attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements
✅ Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate or equivalent)
✅ 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, packaging, or logistics environment
✅ Experience in stock management and warehouse operations

- Attention to Detail: Focused on accuracy in stock handling and data entry.

- Communication Skills: Well-developed reading, listening, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Customer Assistance:
- Greet and assist customers at the issue and receiving counter, providing friendly, professional service.
- Verify signatures on SSR’s (Stock Service Requests) to ensure proper authorization.
🔹 Stock Management:
- Capture SSR’s and invoices accurately on a daily basis.
- Assist with the loading and offloading of stock and non-stock items.
- Ensure all SSR’s are matched and checked against the Inventory Journal.
- Complete GRA’s (Goods Receipt Advice) for all returns and repairs.
🔹 Warehouse Organization:
- Ensure stock is correctly binned and maintained in an organized manner.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the warehouse to ensure a clean and safe environment.
🔹 Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure compliance with SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) procedures.
- Uphold the ethical standards of Rainbow Packaging and adhere to RPM (Rainbow Packaging Management) guidelines.
- Report and escalate any non-compliance issues promptly to management.
🔹 Inventory Control & Reporting:
- Assist with quarterly stock counts and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Regularly capture data in the system for trend analysis and business decision-making.
🔹 Team Support:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure productivity goals are met.
- Share important data with management to enable effective decision-making.
