🚀 Role Overview

As a Pharmacist at Clicks Southdowns, you will ensure the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care, accurate dispensing, and patient-centred services. You will also contribute to the operational efficiency, financial management, and mentorship of junior pharmacy staff.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of pharmaceutical service and care in accordance with Good Pharmacy Practice.

• Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Offer professional counselling and advice to patients on medication use and therapy.

• Manage scheduled substances and dispensary stock control.

• Oversee efficient dispensary administration and daily operational management.

• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and merchandise presentation.

• Monitor financial management and contribute to the operational viability of the pharmacy.

• Train and mentor Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns.

• Manage staff and plan resources effectively to meet operational requirements.

• Support ad hoc operational activities as required.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• B Pharm degree.

• Completed Internship and Community Service.

• Registration with SAPC (South African Pharmacy Council).

• Relevant legal knowledge regarding pharmacy and scheduled substances.
