Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Assistant at Clicks Southdale, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and patient care in a retail pharmacy environment.

• Managing stock efficiently, including ordering, receiving, storing, and repacking of medicine.

• Ensuring accurate and efficient dispensary administration.

• Assisting with accurate compounding of medications under supervision.

• Providing general health advice and OTC recommendations.

• Ensuring excellent housekeeping and an appealing merchandise display.

• Handling ad hoc tasks as required for pharmacy operations.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics – Essential

• Must meet the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) criteria for Pharmacist Assistants at the Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic level.

• Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare environment is beneficial.

• A passion for patient care and wellness.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
