Your Responsibilities as a Pharmacy Assistant:

As a Pharmacy Assistant, your main role will be to support both the pharmacist and customers through efficient service delivery and product knowledge. Your duties will include:

• Providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

• Receiving and checking prescriptions for accuracy, collecting levies, or verifying exemptions

• Promoting healthcare products and services to increase in-store sales

• Referring customers to the pharmacist or other healthcare professionals where necessary

• Receiving and managing incoming stock, rotating to reduce expiry losses, and flagging discrepancies

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment as per store procedures

• Handling payments, performing cash-ups and basic banking responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior community pharmacy experience is highly desirable

• A passion for customer care and the ability to provide a welcoming experience

• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to collaborate

• Eagerness to learn about healthcare products and services

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
