Purpose of the Role

As a Phlebotomist, your main responsibility is to ensure the accurate and safe collection of specimens required for pathology testing, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the ethical standards of the profession.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures including blood draws and non-blood specimen collection with care and precision.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant Phlebotomy or Nursing qualification (Required)

• Registered with HPCSA or SANC (Required)

• Valid South African driver’s license (Required)

• Must have South African ID or valid work permit

• Prior experience working as a Phlebotomist or in a similar role within a hospital or pathology environment.
