Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organised Planner to join our Accreditation Department. The ideal candidate will provide vital planning and administrative support, ensuring the department runs efficiently and meets its service delivery objectives.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to national quality assurance frameworks and build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

  • Plan and coordinate all accreditation assessments in line with ISO and regulatory standards.

  • Update and maintain the assessment planning master schedule.

  • Track job status through internal planning systems.

  • Manage ad-hoc or short-notice changes to assessment plans and record postponements.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain up-to-date and organised records, files, and documents.

  • Prepare reports, meeting packs, and agendas.

  • Coordinate logistics such as meeting room bookings, training schedules, and general office support.

  • Provide assistance during external assessments (SANAS/RVA) and support assessors.

Compliance & Risk

  • Assist in risk identification and adhere to fraud prevention controls and compliance procedures.

  • Support internal and external audits and maintain quality standards.

  • Ensure documentation aligns with ISO and legal requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, service providers, and internal teams.

  • Serve as a reliable contact point for customer queries and information flow.

  • Ensure the professional image of the Head of Department is upheld in all stakeholder interactions.


Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Office or Business Administration or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant planning or administrative experience, ideally within an accreditation or quality-focused environment.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
