π§ Role Overview
As a ServiceNow Platform Engineer at Klipboard, you will be a key driver in delivering and improving internal and external workflows, customer support processes, and enterprise platform integrations. Youβll work on customizing, configuring, and deploying ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, Now Assist, generative AI add-ons, chat solutions, telephony integrations, and more).
Your work will help standardize and streamline business processes across newly integrated acquisitions, support user experience improvements, and enable efficient IT and service operations deploying ServiceNow best practices and ITIL guidelines.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and solutions with the broader team.

Customize ServiceNow modules, roll out new applications and system upgrades.

Gather requirements from stakeholders, transform them into technical specifications.

Integrate ServiceNow with other systems (ERP, telephony platforms, iPASS solutions) via REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications.

Provide technical support for end-users and maintain documentation of configurations, workflows, and processes.
-
Administer workflows, implement add-ons, and ensure updates follow best practices.
-
Contribute to Customer Service Management (CSM) support, ensuring knowledge management is embedded across business units.

Assist in problem resolution, system maintenance, and workflow optimization.

Engage with stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency and business transformation.

Provide support to remote tools integrations (e.g. remote access/ support tools) when required.
-
Be available for on-call or out-of-hours support when required. Local travel may be needed occasionally.
π Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
β Essential Requirements:
-
Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
-
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer / Platform Engineer or similar role.
-
Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, ITSM/CSM configuration, and development best practices.
-
Experience with ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts), Flow Designer, Workflow Editor.

Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
-
Familiar with REST & SOAP APIs for system integrations.

Strong SQL and database administration knowledge.
-
Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
-
Able to collaborate across teams and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
β Preferred / Desirable:

Certifications in ServiceNow (ITSM, CSM, or administration)

Understanding of ITIL framework (preferably ITIL v3 foundation)

Experience with remote support tools or remote administration services (e.g. LogMeIn Rescue)

Knowledge of enterprise software support or service transformation environments

Project management or workflow-implementation experience
