🎯 Role Overview

Nova Pioneer Northriding is seeking a dynamic Pre-Primary Assistant Teacher to join our team. You will work closely with Deans of Instruction, who provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to support your professional growth.

As an Assistant Teacher, your role is to empower young learners, cultivate curiosity, and support a student-centered learning environment.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Infuse joy and passion for learning into all lessons, engaging students in their academic growth.
• Set ambitious goals for students and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and use results to adapt teaching strategies.
• Attend weekly feedback and coaching sessions with Deans and learning designers.
• Actively participate in professional growth opportunities, including daily team reflections, weekly development meetings, and instructional coaching.
• Communicate regularly with parents through email, telephone, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities at least once per term.
• Participate in collaborative teams, committees, and supervision duties, including some morning, evening, and weekend events.

⭐ Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:
• High School/ECD Certificate or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) – ideal.
• 2+ years of professional experience in a nursery or pre-primary setting.
• Experience with Cambridge curriculum objectives is advantageous.
