👨💻 About the Role
As a Principal Software Engineer, you’ll take charge of transformative development projects that combine advanced technologies like Java, AWS, and AI-powered content enrichment. You’ll empower a team of developers, tackle complex technical challenges, and play a vital role in building scalable systems for legal content structuring and delivery. Passion for XML transformations and curiosity about AI (e.g., CoPilot, RAG principles) are essential for this role.
💼 Key Responsibilities
✔️ Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications on AWS
✔️ Lead and evolve content processing workflows using XSLT and XML
✔️ Solve complex technical problems and guide architecture decisions
✔️ Mentor and upskill team members in technical best practices
✔️ Contribute to the long-term technology strategy of the team
✔️ Stay informed of emerging trends and integrate innovations
✅ Requirements
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
🧠 10+ years of experience in software development, with strong leadership exposure
☁️ Expertise in Java and AWS (certifications are a plus)
🧾 Familiarity with XML, XSD, DTD (or willingness to grow into it)
🐍 Python experience is a bonus
🗣️ Strong communication and mentoring skills
🧩 Experience in managing large-scale projects
🤝 Able to work independently and collaboratively
