🌍 About the Role

As a Principal Specialist in Margin Assurance, you will play a pivotal role within the Group International Business Excellence Team, responsible for centralising the Centre of Excellence (COE) for Financial Operations (FinOps) across the Africa Hub. This is a high-visibility position where your actions directly influence operational excellence, process integrity, and innovation at scale.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

📈 Margin Assurance Execution

  • Implement standardised methodologies for GSM, MPESA, and Fixed Line margin assurance assessments.

  • Support programming, business analysis, and documentation for centralised solutions.

  • Conduct on-site operational assessments and gap analysis for process control improvements.

🚀 Strategic Projects

  • Lead Margin Assurance input for large-scale change initiatives.

  • Maintain stakeholder alignment and ensure seamless implementation of strategic projects.

🔒 Governance & Risk Mitigation

  • Develop and enforce MA policies, procedures, and internal controls.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and Group Risk to enhance risk management strategies.

📊 Performance Monitoring

  • Establish KPIs aligned with Vodafone’s global standards.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and drive a data-driven decision-making culture.

🤝 Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with executives and MA teams across multiple markets.

  • Deliver innovative, scalable solutions that meet business needs.

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile

🎓 Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 8+ years in a Margin Assurance or telecom audit environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Commerce, IT, or Engineering.

  • International or multinational experience is a strong advantage.

🛠️ Key Skills

  • Expert knowledge of GSM, MPESA, and Fixed Line revenue streams.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and experience with MDF feeds.

  • Exceptional documentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability in system implementation and business analysis.
