Job Overview

Capitec Bank is seeking a Process Analyst to drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop effective business process solutions aligned with the bank’s vision and strategy. The role focuses on analysing, designing, and improving business processes to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business processes

  • Analyse, design, and develop business process solutions

  • Support the operationalisation of new and improved processes

  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and business improvement methodologies

  • Translate business requirements into practical process improvements

  • Support change management and business case development

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements

  • Monitor risks, issues, and quality management within processes


Qualifications

Education

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis (minimum)

  • Postgraduate qualification in Business Analysis or Information Technology (advantageous)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in analytical or business improvement roles

  • Proven experience in data analytics, process design, and improvement

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, Agile, or similar methodologies

  • Experience in processing systems and operational environments (advantageous)

  • Leadership or management exposure (advantageous)

Knowledge

  • Lean ways of working and continuous improvement principles

  • Business Change Life Cycle and change management

  • System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Project Management Lifecycle

  • Agile ways of working

  • Quality, risk, and issue management

  • BABOK, SOA, TOGAF, ARCHIMATE

  • Client journey mapping and business case development

  • Banking processes and systems (advantageous)

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Facilitation and stakeholder management

  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills
