As a Process Engineer I at Sasol, you will provide engineering support for the Site Logistics and Tank Farm areas. You will play a key role in ensuring production volumes are optimized, plant performance is efficient, and quality standards are met. In addition, you will be instrumental in monitoring plant operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing improvement initiatives to meet sustainability goals and environmental compliance.

This role is perfect for a BSc. Chemical Engineer or BEng (Chem) graduate with at least 3 years of experience in process engineering. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team while enhancing the overall performance of Sasol’s production facilities.

  • Operating Window & Performance Monitoring: Define and optimize the operating window for Tank Farm equipment, ensuring the plant meets availability, quality, and efficiency targets.

  • Shutdown Support: Assist during shutdowns by ensuring integration with the value chain and addressing process equipment integrity.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify improvement opportunities, leveraging industry best practices for optimal process performance.
