Job Summary

Anglo American is looking for an experienced Process Trainer to join their team at the Mogalakwena Complex in Mokopane, South Africa. In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees across various departments. As a subject matter expert, you will facilitate learning experiences that contribute to the safety, performance, and success of the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Safety & Health Compliance: Apply safety and health principles to all interactions, ensuring a zero-harm environment.
Deliver Engaging Training: Lead interactive workshops, simulations, and training sessions to improve employee competencies.
Training Customization: Adapt content to different learning styles, ensuring optimal comprehension and retention.
Subject Matter Expertise: Specialize in safety procedures, equipment operation, and compliance topics.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and regulatory updates to incorporate new learning into training sessions.
Feedback & Evaluation: Administer assessments to evaluate learning outcomes, offering constructive feedback for improvement.
Logistics Management: Organize training sessions, including room setup, scheduling, and equipment preparation.
Collaborative Development: Work with supervisors and subject matter experts to improve training materials and methods.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Grade 12

  • OD-ETDP NQF4

  • Assessor Certificate and relevant technical qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role or environment

  • Expertise in training methodologies and adult learning principles

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills

  • Ability to adapt training methods based on participant needs and feedback

  • Code 08 driver’s license and medical fitness certificate required

  • Experience with safety regulations and equipment operation procedures in mining
